    I genuinely can’t recommend this course enough. Currently finishing up week 5, and its been a great course with 2 brilliant lads instructing it.

    It really took me out of my comfort zone and got me training in ways I wouldn’t have before. I’ve seen big increases with both my cardio and endurance. If you’re on the fence about doing it, honestly don’t be.

    Currently 2 weeks into the course, just finished my second session of the day and I am absolutely blown away by how good the experience is so far. I’ve got 4 weeks left and the feedback, support, knowledge and help I have received from both Ollie and Gaz has been excellent. I am currently in the Royal Navy and looking to transfer across to the Royal Marines in the near future, and this course so far has given me a good push and helped me to get out of the training rut I was in. I was expecting it to be good but even having only done a third of the course I am very impressed. If you’re looking for a push, its well worth it.

    This course is incredible, it absolutely puts you in great stead physically and mentally to be able to tackle the training on the course and prepare you for going into training.

    The strength and conditioning by Ollie is well structured and intended to push you. Initially I didn’t think I was fit enough to join the course but my mind was soon put at ease as we are all at different stages of the journey with different requirements, I managed to push myself more and do a lot better than I ever imagined. Don’t even doubt or question just do it, it’s the best thing you will do.

    The psychological aspect Gaz teaches is absolutely paramount to training and if you apply it during the course you will have no doubt you will succeed in completing the course and more.

    Also, having Holly the physio is amazing that no other course offers, holly is the physio for the Royal Marines and having been a client of hers prior to the course meant I knew how to handle the niggle I got in training putting me in good stead for when I do get into training.

    Not only is the course great and well structured but you make friends with like minded people and when the training does get hard you push people on, the banter created in the group gave it a real training feel even though given the pandemic everything is virtual. Like everything you get out what you put in, invest in yourself and this course is definitely worth it.

    The course has been brilliant! From the start I have had help whenever I asked from the training team. My fitness levels have gone through the roof along with my muscular endurance. I’ve finished with a lot more knowledge regarding the psychological and strength and conditioning side. I am now confident that I will pass Recruit training.

Absolutely one of the best decisions I’ve made buying this course, its helped me massively and put me on the road to success.     Signing up to this programme was the best decision I could’ve made when looking to improve my physical and mental robustness. Ollie and Gaz have a wealth of experience and are clearly SMEs in their respective fields.

    The time, dedication and sheer commitment they give to you as both a team and as an individual is commendable. Not only do they guide you through the physical training and psychology, they actively encourage you to push yourself and realise your own potential.

    My fitness has improved dramatically which is evident when comparing my final RMFA results at the end of the course, to the ones I achieved in the first week. In addition to the incredible course content, you get the opportunity to meet/talk to other like-minded, driven individuals that you can discuss results, training methods and general aspirations with.

    Overall. I feel more motivated, focused and confident and I am so grateful for the support Ollie and Gaz have given me.

    This was an absolutely fantastic course run by two extremely qualified and passionate individuals.

    Ollie combines his knowledge of life as a Royal Marine Commando and as a professional athlete with a tailored physical programme designed to build strength and condition. His support throughout the entirety of the course was testament to my physical improvement – increasing reps and reducing times on runs. By the end of the course I had shaved nearly a whole minute off my 2.4km run. He is always on call to discuss unique and individual approaches towards the programme; something that I found imperative in enabling me to achieve my goals around on-going life and work commitments.

    Gaz shares his knowledge of the mental hardships that he faced throughout his career to deliver a clear and positive psychological message, providing answers to a number of concerns that face every potential officer or recruit. I found this essential as the course progressed and witnessed elements of tiredness and doubt begin to creep in. Gaz was always on call to discuss any problems. I often found that our zoom meetings carried on longer than anticipated as he encouraged strong participation and remained open to our individual woes. His positive mental attitude was essential to our group success and a perfect compliment to Ollie’s programme of progressive physical pain.

    I cannot recommend this course enough. It was tough. It worked on developing physical and mental resilience over the full course of the 6 week period, and therefore no one should feel intimidated by the demands or physical expectations – you will be developed. Both Ollie and Gaz are extremely approachable and felt passionately about seeing us all succeed. As a result, I have since embarked on a period of continuation training with them.

    I would recommend this course to anyone that is interested to a career within the armed forces.

    When I started the course I struggled with the bodyweight (strength) side of training, and was nervous to sign up! However, after the first week I already felt improvements and Gaz’s psychology lessons put training into a whole new perspective. Would highly recommend!

The comrade you get being with the other lads going through the course helps keep motivation high when Ollie decides to administer some very testing sessions!     Fantastic course and great instructors!

    The physical aspect of the training is top notch and progressive, no matter what fitness level you are at, you will improve massively!

    Alongside this, there is also the weekly psychology lessons with Gaz, which feels like you’re low arming super amounts, but in a way that’s manageable and it doesn’t all just go over your head.

    The combination of the two has been a massive help for me discovering what “state of mind” is needed for the Royal Marines, and I went on to get a strong pass on my VPJFT+. I believe a huge chunk of the credit goes to Gaz, this course, and Ollie – who even after the 6 weeks was up, helped me design an extra 2 weeks into the programme to see me through to my VPJFT+ date.

    Outstanding course and top notch blokes, if you’re mincing about and wondering if you should do it or not, 100% take the plunge!

    Amazing course, can not fault one bit!

    The course comprises of two different aspects – the physical program ran by Ollie and the mental side ran by Gaz. Both of which are excellently delivered by the team.

    Ollie has a wealth of Knowledge and helps tailor the course to your physical needs, throughout the 6-week training program. His coaching style and approach helped me hit many ‘Personal Bests’ and I can’t wait to continue to improve under his tutelage.

    Gaz and his Psych lessons are amazing and will give you the tools you need to undertake any goal you may have and complements the physical aspect perfectly! Mentally, I am in a much stronger place and feel as if I have an edge on other Royal Marine applicants now.

    Great team, great experience.

    Ollie is second to none with the physical aspects and caters to your fitness goals specifically. Going into Royal Marines training with a confident head on my shoulders knowing I’m more than capable physically now after the 6-week programme!

    Gaz has a plethora of knowledge and can address any concerns you have pre-military mindset wise, but all his lessons and advice can be transferred into everyday life. The advice and lessons you take away from this course do in-fact give you an edge, whether it be going into military training or just bettering yourself. People forget just how powerful the mind really is.

    The communication between the coaches and “trainees” is pretty incredible and I did not expect it to be that good, they’re always one message or phone call away.

    Overall, I had a great experience. These guys will definitely push you beyond what you thought was possible, and I would do it all again in a heart beat! Thank you.

    If you want to take your training seriously, then look no further!

    Enjoyed every moment of it. I’m coming to the end of the course now and I’m already thinking of doing the Continuation Programme. Its tough but that’s what we are all here for!

    I wasn’t expecting the kind of support that Ollie and Gaz provide, whether it be a private message or in the group chats. All round great blokes and genuinely want you to do well. The group chat with the other potential recruits helped me massively with my moral and supplied a good few laughs with the lads in it.

    Currently going into Week 7 of Royal Marines basic training, and this training programme has definitely put me in a position where my fitness and mental toughness has kept me going through training this far, and will keep me prepared for everything that is going come!

    The coaching teams knowledge and experience is second to non and is what makes this programme stand out from any others. I give this course 10/10 and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going into the military.

If you’re going to put max effort into the course you will see massive improvements, not just in fitness but how you approach sessions, and day to day things mentally. The knowledge Gaz and Ollie have on Strength & Conditioning, Injury Prevention, Psychology and military life are all things that you will learn throughout the course.     I’m currently finishing up week 6 of the course and have to say it has been an invaluable experience. I wanted a course that would give me a blueprint for training but this has been above and beyond that in terms of the physical side and has also been a great psychological boost! The course doesn’t just focus on the physical side, and also offers a great insight into Royal Marine life as well, as methods for dealing with the mental side of training.     I was a member of the second course and cannot fault it. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is aspiring to join the Royal Marines or any other military organisation as it helps train and prepare you both physically and mentally. The course is pretty demanding physically and requires solid dedication throughout, especially if you work fulltime as you may have to fit multiple sessions in on a single day. Also, to get the most out of the course it would help if you have access to equipment, such as a pull-up bar and heart rate monitor – these aren’t too expensive.

    Now that’s out the way, all I can say about the course and the coaches is that it’s simply fantastic and does what it says it does. I improved on pretty much everything (push ups, sit ups etc). In particular, I noticed the biggest difference in my 1.5 mile best effort run and the endurance and strength in my legs. Running for longish periods of time are now pretty easy and also enjoyable. Not only does it change the way you train but you’re also taught some of the science behind the reasons why we train like that and why that’s more beneficial compared to other training methods.

    Furthermore, you also get a huge insight into the Royal Marine life – not just the mainstream stuff you see online. As well as this, you get taught some valuable psychological tips and tricks that will help make training seem more possible as well as other challenges.

    As for the coaches, the relationship with them (and the group) are second to none. The atmosphere with them and the group is very friendly and often involving a laugh! Both coaches have helped me massively psychologically and have definitely given me much more confidence for the future. I am continuing to work with them over the next year or so as they are just fantastic. If you’re debating whether to purchase this service then just do it. It’s at a very good price and you have nothing to lose, but lots to gain!

    I have learnt so much. My mindset is completely different. They also helped me pass my VPJFT+ and my physical work has massively improved.

    I was a member of the first 6-week course, and I can say it has not only changed the way I perceive training, both mentally and physically, but has absolutely improved my Press-ups, Pull-ups, Sit-ups and my 1.5 mile return.

    As well as this, it provides insight into life in training based on psychological goals and standards, hugely helpful for those about to enter training as well, as those only just getting started on their application.

    Finally, the level of personal support, including goal setting, interview preparation and physiological aspects (WHY you’re doing this long run, WHY you’re doing this HIIT session, WHY your HR needs to be at this level), is second to none. Overall, 10/10 for organisation, structure and also looking ahead for members with the continuation program.
    Absolutely recommended.

    If anyone is unsure as to if they would like to get on the course I would highly recommend going for it. At the start of the course I could barely run a couple of hundred meters before having to stop due to a knee injury i sustained at the start of lockdown. After working with Ollie I managed to do my first full 20 minute run with no pain yesterday. Not only this but my rmfa scores have all improved more than i would have thought. Also the help I have received from Gaz has been fantastic, he has helped massively with my confidence due to a setback I received with my application.

    Overall the help you get is second to none and they both go above and beyond anything i could have ever expected/hoped for. Two incredibly knowledgeable and all round sound guys 👊

    Best decision I ever made, huge confidence and all round robustness boost. I now know I’m ready and prepared for what’s coming when I head down to Lympstone, with insights I would never have had without Gaz and Ollie. I’ve been educated on how to train and get where I need to be, without burnout or injury. Would recommend to anyone, at any fitness level, if you’re thinking of joining the military or just getting more out of yourself, these are the lads to get in touch with!

    Best of the best, No better educated coaches around. After Getting on the course and receiving the endless flow of support from Gaz and Ollie, I’ve become the strongest version of myself. I start training with the Royal Marines in 7 days and I’m now going into that With the best physical condition and mental resilience I’ve ever had. Top blokes, top programme, top results. Don’t mess about with the idea, get on a course asap.

    Just a quick note for anybody deciding whether or not to sign up for the Fortitude Course.

    Before the course (5 weeks ago) my absolute best effort 1.5 mile return was 9:59, I have just completed 2 x 1.5 mile best efforts in 9:17 and 9:19 respectively.

    The coaching, guidance and support you receive on the course is second to none and worth 3 times the price it costs. If anyone is on the fence about it, just do it, you’ll realise it was worth it after the first day.

    Starting the 5th week of the course now and I’m really glad I chose to join. I’ve felt and seen improvements week on week with professional round the clock support for training, injury prevention, questions and moral support. We’re all in daily contact and share our results which gives a real sense of community with the mates you make, while all at different levels of fitness going through the same challenging and confidence building programme. I’m going to miss it when it’s gone. I can’t praise the lads enough for how it gets you focused and shows you what level you need to be training at, and how you should start thinking, to feel prepared for the task of switching into military life.
